Four reasons the DVR holds up on the rental circuit

COB LEDs bonded directly to the board. No wire connections. An 8kg panel that crews actually want to carry. Built for venues that change every week.

8 kg Per Panel: Crews Load Faster

At 8 kilograms, a two-person crew loads and unloads a full wall without a lift. Die-cast aluminum keeps the frame rigid and the weight number honest. Four hours into a load-in, that matters.

COB LED: No Wire Bonds to Fail

Chip-on-Board bonds red, green, and blue directly onto the board. No wire connections to snap, no single-LED cascade failures. Run the DVR across 200 shows and the pixel map stays intact.

90-Degree Corners: No Custom Fabrication

Panels connect at 90 degrees with no visible seam. L-shaped corners, U-shaped configurations, and full room wraps all use standard panels. No custom fabrication, no surprise charges at the corner quote.

IP65 Front & Dual Access Servicing

Front modules carry IP65 protection against dust and water spray. Front and rear access opens independently. Service one panel mid-show without pulling the wall down.

DVR 1.2 vs 1.5 vs 1.9: match the pitch to your venue

Pixel pitch sets the minimum comfortable viewing distance. Match the pitch to the room, not the other way around.

Before you rent: DVR questions answered

Common questions from rental companies, AV integrators, and event producers evaluating the DVR Series.

Match pitch to viewing distance. Audiences within 1–3 metres: DVR 1.2 (1.26mm), sharpest image in the range. Mixed crowd at 2–5 metres: DVR 1.5 (1.58mm), the most versatile pitch for rental fleets. Audiences beyond 5 metres: DVR 1.9 (1.9mm), lowest cost per square metre. Choosing too fine a pitch for a large venue wastes budget. Choosing too coarse for a close audience produces visible pixels.
COB bonds chips directly to the board. No wire connections means no wire-bond failure cascade, no single LED taking down a cluster. Rental panels take more physical stress than permanent installs. The COB construction handles repeated transport, setup, and teardown without the failure modes that affect SMD panels over hundreds of show cycles.
Yes. DVR panels connect at 90 degrees with no visible seam. L-shaped corners, U-shaped configurations, and full room wraps all use standard panels with no custom fabrication required. This keeps rental inventory simple: one panel SKU covers flat and corner builds.
IP65 means the front modules are protected against dust ingress and direct water jets. The rear carries IP54 protection. For outdoor events and covered stages where rain or humidity is a risk, the DVR front holds up. It is not rated for submerged or sustained outdoor exposure. See the DVW Series for full IP67 weatherproof builds.
The DVR supports independent front and rear access. A technician can open a specific panel from the front without removing surrounding panels or taking the wall offline. For permanent floor or truss builds where rear access is blocked, front-only service covers most field repairs.
All DVR models run at 3000Hz. At lower refresh rates, cameras capture visible banding and scan lines in footage. At 3000Hz the display photographs without visible flicker at standard video shutter speeds. Event photographers and videographers can shoot the wall without adjusting for scan lines in post.
