Our Commitment

MediaTile is committed to making mediatile.com usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

Accessibility is not a side concern for us. We build interactive kiosks and digital wayfinding systems that public institutions rely on to be usable by everyone who walks through their doors, and we hold our own website to the same intent. Where we fall short, we want to know.

Conformance Status

mediatile.com partially conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Partially conforms means that most of the site meets the standard and that we have identified specific exceptions, listed below, which we are correcting.

This status is based on an automated self assessment carried out on September 10, 2026 across the site’s main page templates. Automated testing checks a large share of WCAG requirements but not all of them. Manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers has not yet been completed, and this statement will be updated when it has.

This statement covers the website only. The wayfinding application that our customers deploy on kiosks and visitors’ phones is a separate product and conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA; see our accessibility standards page. The MediaTile content management platform is an authoring tool used by our customers’ staff, and the accessibility of content created with it is the responsibility of the organization that creates it.

What This Statement Covers

This statement applies to the mediatile.com website.

It does not cover:

  • Content or services provided by third parties and embedded in our pages, such as video players, maps, and form or chat widgets, over which we have limited control.
  • Content we link to that is hosted on external platforms.
  • The MediaTile content management application, which our customers use to manage their own networks. Accessibility information for our products is on our accessibility standards page.
  • The wayfinding application our customers deploy on kiosks and phones, which has its own conformance claim of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, described on our accessibility standards page.

Known Limitations

The automated assessment on September 10, 2026 found the following. Each is being corrected in the current round of site updates.

  1. Some fields on our contact form are not programmatically labelled. This affects people using screen readers, who may not hear what a field is for. Until it is corrected, you can reach us by phone at 888-342-6667 or by email at support@mediatile.com.
  2. Some text on the contact page does not meet the minimum contrast ratio. This affects people with low vision. The same information is available by phone and email.
  3. Some controls on the contact page are smaller than the recommended minimum target size. This affects people with limited dexterity and people using touch screens.
  4. An icon button in the page template has no accessible name on some pages. This affects people using screen readers. The same functions are reachable through the main navigation.
  5. A scrollable content area on one article page cannot be reached by keyboard alone. This affects people who navigate without a mouse. The information in that area is also present in the surrounding text.
  6. One element on a product page template uses an attribute not permitted for its role. This may cause a screen reader to announce it incorrectly.
  7. Third party content embedded in our pages, such as video players and form widgets, may not fully conform. This affects anyone relying on assistive technology when using those components, and we have limited control over them.

How We Assessed This Site

This site was assessed by MediaTile on September 10, 2026, using automated testing (axe-core 4.10.2) against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA success criteria, across five representative page templates: the home page, a product page, an article page, the contact page, and the pricing page. Two of the five templates returned no issues; the findings from the other three are listed above.

Manual testing with keyboard navigation and screen readers is planned, and this statement will be revised when it is complete. We review this statement annually, and whenever the site changes substantially.

This statement was prepared on September 10, 2026 and is reviewed annually.
