Retail Industry implementing Digital Signage

Why the retail industry already implemented Digital Signage?

Progress never stops and to stay successful, the retail industry has no other option but to follow the same road.

How to effectively engage with your audience? What can improve customer experience? Why industry leaders already implemented Digital Signage as a new way of visual communication?

Last year, more than 6,000 stores closed its doors within the U.S. Many theories will tell you it doesn’t make sense to spend money on rent and man power, when you can sell online. What if retail marketing not being on par was the real reason behind the failures of many department stores, clothing boutiques and gigantic toy stores. Now you can take advantage and bring your marketing to a higher level.

E-commerce is great but it is definitely not enough to stay competitive in the market!

Picture this: I took my mother to a department store. She came across a rack of blouses on sale. I noticed a long metal pole right next to the rack, with a print of the General Manager’s face and contact information for any questions/concerns. As fate would have it, the pole toppled over and nearly landed on my mother’s head. The manager came by, apologized, picked it up and dragged it away to the back. So, the outcome of this story is that, first of all having digital signage will minimize the possibility of injuries, secondly, the print image is great but honestly, it’s not grabbing people’s attention because it’s static and finally imagine the process of updating this type of print board!
